Sebastian Meyen, Chief Content Officer at Software & Support Media Group led a panel alongside Chris Noring from McKinsey, Manfred Steyer of SOFTWAREarchitekt, IBM’s Lorna Mitchell and Shmuela Jacobs of ngGirls. The discussion revolved around the game-changers in the JavaScript ecosystem, namely TypeScript and Node.js, as well as serverless JavaScript, to name a few.

A central aspect of the discussion revolved around TypeScript: What role does TypeScript play for the future of ECMAScript – should it replace TypeScript ECMAScript?
