According to NPM’s statistics, React has a worldwide market share of around 60 percent. Reason enough to have a closer look at Facebook’s frontend library. In this workshop we will dive into the world of React and create an application that includes all the major parts of the library. This ranges from JSX to the conception and creation of a component hierarchy, to communication with a web server. You will learn all the important facets of React that you need to build your own application. We will also have a quick look at the ecosystem that has emerged around React such as navigation in an application, testing and global state management.
