React Workshop

According to statistics from NPM, React has a market share of 60 percent. That’s reason enough to take a look at the frontend library created by Facebook. In this workshop, we dive into the world of React and develop a fully-fledged application. From using JSX to building and architecting component hierarchies, to the Hooks API, you’ll learn all the important facets of the popular library. You will also get an insight into the React universe, which includes application navigation, testing, and advanced methods for state management.

After this workshop you will have a basic understanding of the features and patterns of React and you are able to work on applications written in React on your own.

In this workshop we will create an application that presents data to its users and enables them to modify this information. We will cover the following topics in detail:

  •  Installation and setup of a react application
  •  React components
  •  State and Props
  •  Context
  •  Hooks
  •  JSX
