At roadsurfer, Europe’s biggest outdoor travel expert, we are building up new tech teams to continue the development of our software platform (which we call Wave), and to build new applications and services that will help our customers get the most from roadsurfer products – whether renting a campervan, booking a private camping spot, or buying a campervan.

Our current tech stack uses PHP 7 and Symfony 4 to provide RESTful APIs to our frontend clients, which are built with Vue.js. Naturally our applications are Dockerized, and deployed to AWS EKS. We have a strong commitment to Agile development practices, TDD and clean code. We encourage every developer to follow the path to mastery; our tech teams will have the autonomy to make decisions about technologies to use in the future, and we encourage our techies to keep up to date with new frameworks, languages and technologies.
