Progressive Web Apps are today installable on iOS, iPadOS, kaiOS, and all desktop OS’s with Chrome and Edge, but is your PWA ready for those platforms? Most devs were optimizing their PWAs to run smoothly on Android, and these new platforms added some new challenges for our code and user experience that we need to manage.

In this session, we’ll see current compatibility and challenges your web app might have on these new platforms, including enterprise distribution, multi-window support, JavaScript and app lifecycle, integration with the platforms, app store support, APIs, authentication and installation promotion. We will talk about unique abilities on these platforms that require special attention for a better UX. We won’t forget Android, talking about the forgotten browsers and how they are treating PWAs in 2020.
